ASTA is explosive rock fused with experimental mermaid punk. Formed in Copenhagen by Asta, Lasse, and Mikkel, the young alternative trio channels their obsession with noisy guitars, thunderous drumming, and off-kilter vocals into cathartic, high-energy live performances. With an all-or-nothing attitude and their hearts firmly on their sleeves, they draw from rock, punk, spoken word, and the avant-garde, forging a raw, uncompromising sound that is both jagged and exhilarating.

Crushing plays immediate, noisy, and primitive guitar music. Fast paced in both style and approach, they boil down the feelings of the right now into a hard hitting emo-screamo noise rock cocktail that is as catchy as it is loud. The project is an honest, both humorous and painful, gouging into open wounds that expose intimate insecurities about body, sex, longing, and grief.

Astrid Friberg is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose music blends alternative folk and pop. With a background in jazz and choral music, she has developed a distinctive sound characterised by sweeping melodies, carefully crafted arrangements, and intimate, deeply personal lyrics that remain immediately accessible.
